Does Acupuncture hurt?
-The needles are only as thick as the hair on your head, and the
insertion may only slightly pinch, but typically the needles are not
even felt at all.
Is there any Medicine injected
through the needles?
-the needles are solid (filiform) and no medicine is injected.
Are the needles streile, and
are they re-used?
-The needles are pre-sterilized, pre-packaged, and never reused.
How many needles will be used?
-Anywhere from 1 to 15 needles will be inserted, depending on the
patient, but typically around 8 or 9 needles are used.
How long do the needles stay
in?
-Typically the needles will stay in for 20-30 minutes.
How many treatments are needed
before I see results?
-Most patients will see results immediately, such as reduced pain,
increased range of motion, and increased energy. In order to ensure
sustained and long lasting results, at least 4 treatments are
recommended, afterwhich, a we will look at your progress, and decide if
further treatments are necessary.

-Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine treat a variety of physical,
mental, and emotional conditions such as low back pain, neck pain,
frozen shoulder, knee injuries, headaches, abdominal pain, nausea and
vomiting, acid reflux, menstrual disorders, asthma, infertility,
cold/flu symptoms, cough, shingles, decreased energy, night blindness,
Bell's palsy, hemorroids, allergies, arthritis, and urinary disorders.
